Mission Statement:
The Mid-South Jazz Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501 © (3) organization founded in 2002 by Memphians Napoleon Cassibry, Tab Buford, and David Bradford. The foundation’s mission is to present, preserve, develop, and support jazz, especially Mid-South jazz, in all its complexity, historical significance, and cultural richness. To accomplish this mission, the foundation’s goal is to develop, promote, encourage, and assist groups and artists in the mid-south jazz community.
